What a Day at the Light + Love Studio Looks Like

A Day at Light + Love Arts: What to Expect

Ever wonder what it's like to spend a morning in our backyard art studio? Here’s a peek into a typical day filled with color, curiosity, and connection.

Arrival & Welcome

Children are greeted by name and invited to explore the open-ended stations around the studio: the water table, clay, a sensory bin, or something seasonal and special.

Gathering Time

We start with a story or song, tuned to the season or a current curiosity.

Art Invitations

Children move freely between stations, choosing what calls to them—some might mix paints, others might build forest forts or sculpt with homemade dough.

Play

We naturally transition to more outdoor play in our studio's cozy backyard setting.

Closing Circle

We reflect, share what we’ve made or noticed, and say our goodbyes until next time. This is where we sing our Goodbye Song, and sometimes a chicken joins us!
